Today..We have big Question for Very One.....Development for whom ?
When we visit there.. Mrs Dukhni Digi starts speaking on her own-see, Company has given these tiny houses to live. How can a mother-father, son-daughter-in-law, grandchildren and everyone live in a single room? She syas in her own language Company has not given us jobs. they evicted us from our houses and they themselves live in a Pakka houses. They have taken our farms, land, forest and all water bodies and left us in destitution. Therefore, live together and never think about giving land to the government or any Company.
It will give job to a single person and nothing to our children. It promised to educate our children but nothing. If we had our land, children would have worked on it to eat. If you come in the Summer, we can not give you a lgass of water to drink. they had promised electricity but they didn't give it. They never give us ration-water, medical help. Men works as coolies and women as rezza and made servent. some time womens fetch wooks from the remote jangal and sell it to eanr something. The government proved the Indira Awas in other area, in the name of development, but they don't give Indira Awas to the displaced people of Nandup.
